Dive into the world of fairy punk 🧚🏻♀️ with queer, neurodiverse, and femme power anthems.
SVTINE is a perfect blend of 2000s grunge and modern digital soundscapes. Creating an electrifying alternative sound that is ready to rage to.
Having a strong belief that “music is magic”, SVTINE truly is a force to be reckoned with. With an enchanting belt and a haunting scream, they will be listened to. Whether it influences the mind or is on the frontlines, art has an irreplaceable role in revolution. SVTINE understands this well and remains unapologetic as they sing about their identity and experience in the world that each of us creatures share.
From the start, in East Providence, Rhode Island, they internalized the fear of the outside looking in. The chilling intimidation of something daring to exist outside the norm. So, to everyone else, SVTINE was the quiet kid. But when no one was home, they would unleash their voice like they had been saving it all day just for this. To sing. A glittering reflection of the force within them, that by now has proven itself to be unwavering.
By middle school, they picked up the guitar that had been sitting in the house, calling to them all their life. And from there, they taught themself ukulele, piano, and bass. It was all kept close to the chest, so they worked independently to create their compositions. But doing everything yourself gets tiring, and eventually, they learned the significance of community and asking for help.
It was for the sake of the music that, in their later teens, they writhed themself out of their cocoon, despite their many bouts with mental illness and identity. “It is really difficult for me to deeply express myself conversationally and on the spot, and creating music is what helps me express myself most accurately.”
“Sweet Tooth”, their debut EP, was released in 2022, just before going to college for songwriting at Berklee College of Music. Now, in 2026, a new era of fairy punk has arisen, heated up and complete with a middle finger in your face and a smile on theirs. The single "Message in a Bottle" is tactfully mischievous in each hook and cleverly detailed with some glitter in the molotov.
